Joining the Moyer team in August 2024, Joe Moyer became part of the now 2nd generation family business started in 1979 by his father, Dan Moyer. After graduating with a Finance degree from Southern Methodist University in Texas, Joe lived and worked in Finance positions in San Francisco and Dallas prior to relocating to Carmel. Joe currently resides in Carmel, and looks forward to making an impact on the family business.
Understandably so, Joe has grown up in the jewelry business, working on and off at the store during school breaks. He has always loved rocks and precious gemstones, and appreciates how the jewelry industry (and Moyer specifically) offers the perfect mix of creativity, beauty and business.
When Joe isn’t at Moyer Fine Jewelers, you can find him golfing, traveling or doing puzzles and woodworking. He might also be playing with his two Golden Retrievers, Gatsby and Navy, whom he lovingly refers to as “the sweetest, best boys in the world”.
Joe’s favorite designer collection in the store is Robert Procop’s stunning Masterpiece collection, and his favorite event is Carats & Caviar- a new high-end event featuring Rahaminov Diamonds at Anthony’s Chophouse.
